Our Founder's Vision
Erika McKay - Founder & Managing Partner
Faye Operations was founded to empower businesses with the financial clarity and operational insights needed for growth. After experiencing burnout firsthand and seeing the critical need for skilled accountants, I recognized a need for change in the industry. By leveraging technology to streamline repetitive tasks, Faye Operations enables businesses to focus on the unique challenges that require human expertise.
With a background and degree in accounting, a Certified Fraud Examiner designation, and securities licenses, I bring extensive experience spanning public accounting, financial statement and federal compliance audits, personal and business financial planning, and more. I’ve worked with clients who have budgets upwards of $100M, assisted with government-wide system conversions, developed custom charts of accounts, and SOPs to ensure compliance with complex regulations to name a few. My role often includes identifying issues and creating solutions for impactful financial operations.
I am a strong believer in continuous learning and the idea that collaboration and shared expertise are essential for success. Accounting is an integral part of every business, yet it often goes unrecognized and undervalued. My goal is to make accounting accessible, enjoyable, and essential to strategic decision-making. Success, to me, is helping clients feel confident, supported, and empowered as they navigate their financial journey.
